The RS3 is a proven tire with a good track record. First year out tires will be the least of yor worries. A friend of mine who had no track experience, put baller R compounds on for his first year. In the first 30 minutes of his first track day, he had some Really expensive tires with Really bad flat spots. Because learning to drive...

Is the rubber nice and stretchy? Any concerns about breakage during high friction situations?

Can we get durometer readings of RS4 vs. Maxxis trailer tire? I've been really happy with the wear rate of my Maxxis. Hoping the RS4 wears similarly.

Direct observation, controlled environment A/B data:
I walked out and dry humped the stack. Sonny said, "too late, I had firsties". So they tolerate sloppy second dry humping at least as well as Rival-S 1.5 225/45. Anecdotally, durometer reading almost exactly the same as the tread on my new mountain bike shoes. |
