A quick screen cap from about 18 months ago, posted earlier in this thread. Final wheel will look more or less like this, clear our Superlite and F88 BX1175 kits without spacers, be roughly 40% stronger than the previous wheel and only a few ounces heavier.
Once we finalize the design I'll post a full photo render. Personally, I think the Coto is "meaner" looking that the 6UL. We'll also make a 15x9.5 from the same tooling for NA owners wanting to run 245's with stock-ish fenders.

I've kept what I considered fairly up to date with these, but I haven't seen any mention of 15x10 or 15x11 offerings. Are you planning to offer those in either style at some point?

15x9 Coto renders
 

Some new renders for the 15x9 Coto. It will be a +32. Changed the spoke profile a bit and tweaking some other dimensions to gain brake clearance. We find that careful tuning of the fillets and chamfers have a profound effect on fatigue life. So a lot of our time is
making one little tweak, running through FEA, try the next tweak and keep iterating. This particular wheel is being designed for max brake clearance which is why it isn't a 6UL with inset spokes.
It should clear every 11.75 kit that's available, without spacers. A tad heavier than our gen 4 wheel but 10% higher load rating. Like our ND wheel, 50% lower peak stresses than our gen 4 from before 2017. Still in the design phases so no valves, knurl or logos yet. But this is a good idea of what the final wheel will look like. These should go on sale mid December some time and ship March or thereabouts. This render simulates Beskar finish.

The 15x9 Cotos DO look good in these photos and have the "sexy factor" of the 6ULS.- I think you should rename them to "Kama" to keep the naming theme consistent with their heritage.

Thanks for the feedback. There is certainly a lot of time spent trying to sexify them as much as possible and still hit all the engineering targets.

Please forgive my fitment questions for what are likely well known facts to those with race experience. I've researched and see some conflicting info between other websites so I'm hoping for some clarification. If I understand the diagrams, +32mm offset means these sit 3-4mm closer the car's centerline, away from the fender compared to 35/36 offset? I need new tires so there is no better time to upgrade wheels and the 15x9 Coto looks great!

My setup is an '04 MSM (MS3 ECU, 3.63 diff gears, GT2560 turbo at 16-18 psi for street use, maybe autocross). It has 16x7 Konig Feather wheels with 215/45-16 Azenis RT615K+, and a custom tuned Fat Cat Bilstein setup that came on the car. Both previous owners raced it on tracks in Nevada. From another reply by Ed or Emilio, it seems 225/50-15 should fit NB Miata with a decent amount of negative camber with only a minor lip adjustment if at all. Is there any chance 245/45 would fit without totally flat rolling the lips?

I'm also confused about the 2.5" spring width measurement (I.D, O.D?)...I think 15x9 would fit with the Fat Cat spring setup, correct? Anyway, my just passed 30k miles and has excellent condition paint so I'd like to avoid rolling the lips, definitely no flat roll. 15x9 and 225 tires seems to be the sweet spot, even better if I can retain fender liners which I read isn't possible with 245 width tires.

+32 is closer to fender than +36
225/50/15 is taller than OEM and my rub at full bump depending on your shock set up
We would recommend 225/45 for 9" and 245/40 for 10" for an NB

I like the most recent design. I usually don't like the flush spokes but they look nice on those renders. Count me in assuming they clear the AFCO boxmounts (I'm sure they will judging by your comments). I need an x9 that will clear these beasts, in addition to the 9.5's I'll be running for track only duties.

Yup, not lost on the similarity. When those came out folks said "Oh, it's a 5UL without a lip." But the Jongbloed wheel is largely featureless outside of the concavity they happened upon. Ball milling, chamfers, tapered spokes (both tapered from hub to barrel, and tapered front to back) mean the 6UL is a much more complex design.

I've always kinda liked the longdongs because of the concavity, just never loved the blocky styling. Now we can have details and concavity at a much lower weight and higher strength.
