I have a set of RA1's that I've got about 5 track days on. I also have a set of new NT01's. The RA1's have a bit more wear on the left side. Should I reserve the RA1's for wet use or save the new NT01's for wet use.
I bought a set of RA1s specifically for rain tires.
I have no experience with NT01s.
Go find the Tire Hierarchy thread in Racing Prep, the experts, who have experience with both tires, compare them.
I have no experience with ra1s, but I've had experience with 01s in rain. While not the best rain tire, if its 3/4 to a full tread, they are OK, not great. Had to slowly roll into the throttle and easy on the brakes and constant steering input.
I've used the RA1's in a downpour and they did better than I expected but I was cautious. I try to avoid overly rainy days but sometimes they just pop up here on the east coast.

just based on tread pattern, I would pick the RA1.

Since we know they are the same compound, its likely the RA1 will do better. Granted, tread pattern isn't always a clear indicator, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt.
