Default 1.8 axles and driveshaft NEED

I need some 1.8 axles and driveshaft for my 94 car. Finishing up the build and one of the last things I need.

Not sure what's available locally for you, but you can buy new NB ABS axles for like $65 ea. new from most parts stores now. They will fit. Probably gonna be cheaper than trying to ship a used set.

I've got some brand new axles from advanced for sale. I think I could do $80 shipped for both of em.

Really? Are they 2 piece? I need ones that mount up to this I got a set from a local guy, but the end plates on the axle don’t match up to the ones on the diff. Ones on the axle were too small and the holes didn’t line up.

Unrelated, but your paint looks awesome, and I love the job on the control arms

Thanks!! Car only has 60k miles, and my OCD/inner ricer got the best of me on some of my suspension parts, lol. Had em sandblasted and some paint made from the color code and painted them up. Also did the same to the rear subframe. No one will probably ever see it, but that is the ocd in me kicking in.

You can't buy the 2 part axles any more. The 1 part axles swap in. They weigh less.

Are they reman or new ones? Did some searching and couldnt verify if you could still buy new ones or if all the ones you buy are reman now. Regardless, I’ll probably pick em up from you. Got pics?

Did you check and see if you had a torsen?

No, I’m at work for another 3 hrs. Probably won’t be able to check until saturday sometime in the evening when I get off work.

If you decide to take the axle stubs off either to check if it's a torsen, or to swap in single piece axels, here's the super simple trick to popping them out: wedge in a pry bar & pry without a ton of force, but bop the stub with a dead blow hammer opposite of where you're prying. The prying force tends to kink the stub over slightly and make it bind.

You know it's a torsen if you can see daylight through it with the stubs removed.

Awesome, thanks for the tip!! I was going to pull the drain plug, or maybe its the fill plug..?? To see how to identify if its a torsen or not. But if I get the 1 piece axels, guess I can just do it that way!

Ok, awesome. Waiting to see if they guy with the new ones replies back. In case he doesn’t, yours should swap right in, right? How much shipped?
