Default 2001+ ecu immo and key

Just looking to see whats out there for anyone who has replaced their factory set up with a stand alone. Im looking for a 2001+ ECU Immobilizer and Key all from the same vehicle that was running before removal. As i have put a 2001 vvt motor into my 92 and i am having immobilizer programing issues.
Thanks in advance.

Why don't you just go and buy a new immo unit. That will allow you to program every thing and you will be good to go.

Where is the immobilizer located? I ripped out my ECU and wiring for my LSX swap so my it's still in my car.

The immobilizer is located behind the driver side lower dash panel under the steering column attached to a dash brace. if your willing to sell me the ecu, immo and one key so that nothing needs to be programed shoot me a pm.
thanks.

I know I've got it all. ECU is out and I believe I have another key too. Lemme see about pulling the immobilizer. I've got the steering column down right now and planned on working on the car some this weekend so you're in luck.

I'll get back to you.

Annoy me and send me an email at fmowry@verizon.net too so I remember!

Quick question. Most places that say they can make a new "duplicate chipped key" can handle a backup key for these, right? Not that giving up a key is a dealbreaker for me, but just was wondering if I can get a backup.
