6UL's WTB badly

Not true - he signed up some dealers.
Phil's Tire Service had some for sale (in Spec Miata size) at Watkins Glen a few weeks ago. And Goodwin looks like they might have some 15x7.5 Nickel's in stock.

6UL resale value is exceptional. I know a few people who have sold their used wheels for what they paid for them a year earlier.
I'm changing all the tooling and adding a few news sizes for the gen.2 wheels. Details are almost ironed out so I can start taking orders around mid November for February 09 delivery.
The base 6UL will now be low pressure cast to improve conformity and consistency. The 6ULR will be LPcast/roll formed, exactly like the RPF1. Hoping to keep the standard 6UL price the same or within $15 anyways. 6ULR might be about $220 and maybe 11.4 lbs. The R will look slightly different so you can tell them apart. I probably won't offer the base 6UL in matte bronze anymore, that'll be exclusive to the 6ULR. Working on some unique features and finishes for the R. Details to come as things are finalized.
