You really should get the correct compressor as fittings are very slightly different in size and pressure for R134 is different.
It can be from any R134 Miata.
You need an entire AC system to fit?

i think i DO need the ENTIRE A/C system as there is no 'ac' button on the dash controls.. i totally didn't pay attention to that part of the car when i was looking to buy..

I have a system from a 1995 available.
As for the button...if you pop that plain button off there is the other center button underneath. You would need the button at the very least. Next question...is the evaporator present? (pipes coming through fire wall on passenger side, perhaps capped, or nothing there at all)
Feel free to PM for specifics.

seems to me you need an entire system way to buy a car and then see it has no Ac after you get it home. Brilliant

mother effin' King! LTNT. i don't even got your # no mo. does the guy have a 1.6 or a 1.8?

spike, we've held onto the S2K. it's only got 55K on it atm. we actually shipped the car from IL to CHI last year and just recently started going to some s2ki.com meets. great peeps.

Arkmage: i'd s'pose installing a/c is no harder than installing a greddy turbo. the car's in fine condition otherwise, came w/ TEINs and a set of 15" GAB copy/Rotas.

otherwise, yah.. it's MY bad.. cuz the guy said "the compressor was removed since the seal leaked" and i just didn't even check the A/C button in the dash...

anywho... to everybody...
