Default WTB - '00 Air Bag Computer

Ok, I need that light to stop flashing. Has anyone stripped out their dash, or is otherwise not using their air bag computer? I put in new bags, didn't fix it, so I guess that's the next thing to try.

It's kinda a pain to get to, in fact, any pointers on getting to it would be appreciated :-)

You mean, pull the computer out and pull it apart, then get a new spring? Sounds risky, don't want to pull it apart twice?

Then again, this must be a low budget project here. :-) Where do you get a spring? I gotta keep this project under $75

Want to pay me to take it? Or trade for a TV? It comes with a free, bonus tv!

Does anyone have any idea if that's what makes them go bad? I'm just getting the regular "double blink"....

Er, are any of these '00 computers? Apparently there are differences between the '00 and '01, so the '01 I have doesn't work. :-(

I still don't really know if it's the clock spring or not, I guess that I can test, but I sort of doubt it?

I have both the correct clock spring and control module for an '00.
01+ are not the same.

Thanks guys - checked the clock spring according to the manual, it looks good, so I think all I need is a no-flashing-lights main computer. :-) Probably from whomever has the shortest delivery times to san diego. :-)

I wonder if I still remember how to drive stick?
