As the title states I need 1 axle, possible a pair if the price is right. I really only NEED one though, so if you've got a spare hit me up.

Hmm, how much do you want for it? I'll certainly pay shipping, if its the hassle of shipping it out then I understand that.

 

I can ship, i was just thinking for the cost of shipping, an autoparts store axle is better deal. but then i went looking and only saw them in the $80 range.

axle is of the 2 piece variety, and i can feel a little bit of movement if i twist opposite ends. $30?

 

Sorry to get off topic, but did you break an axle? If so what were you doing to break it? Tires? Power?

My old S2000 use to eat axles on a regular basis, I'm always scared my car is going to but so far haven't had any issues.

 

Jason! Thanks for the offer, i ended up picking up 2 of them for 100 shipped. I needed the 1 piece axles anyways.

pdexta, I'm actually putting a torsen in my car instead of the VLSD in it. The torsen i bought was from a car that had been rear ended, so the diff housing had snapped in the typical breakaway location and because of that one of the axles broke as well. I'm certainly not in axle breaking power range at this point, probably around 200-220whp.

On a plus side, i got the torsen with a broken housing for $100, a new housing for $80, and 2 axles for $100. So now I've got a low mileage $280 torsen . Can't wait to break it in this next week once i drop the motor back in my car.
