This is probably a long shot but I'd like to see if anyone has one of these specific senders that they'd be willing to sell (or let me borrow and return).

I verified this weekend that my oil pressure gauge is reading low and I suspect it's the sender. A replacement sender is about $100 and before spending that I'd like to make sure that's really the case.

The 2246 sender is used on the 0-100 psi full sweep electric fuel and oil pressure gauges and looks just like this:
