As the title states, I am looking for a slave cylinder and flywheel. My slave is leaking and starting to make shifting a PITA. The flywheel can be stock or lightened, new or used. Let me know whatcha' got, and we can work something out.

Slaves are like 20 bucks at any auto parts place. Get one and slap it on. You'd have to rebuild anything used, and between that and shipping it'd cost more than a new one.

 

If you can remove and install your own slave (I have no idea if you are mechanically inclined) then you can rebuild your own slave cylinder. Good trick to learn. I have rebuild three on the four Miatas that I have had. The rebuild kits are only $10-11 at any parts store. All you need is the kit, some fine wet/dry sandpaper and about 15 minutes. Sure beats paying $45+ for a new one. Check the miata.net garage. There are detailed instructions with photos there.

 

Thanks guys didn't realize they are so cheaply had, gonna pick one up today. Still looking for a flywheel, would really like to find a 13lber.

 

I got a stock used 1.8 flywheel. $25 shipped
