My singular hood vents make the hood super floppy. The old bonded sections of the understructure has unglued and now with every lift of the hood, the substructure is creasing and eventually just going to fatigue tear. Looking for a stock hood for now i'll have to hack up the stock latch ring and install Aerocatch stuff. Debating if these will get vents again unless I'm able to maintain healthy substructure.
Mariner Blue preferred, otherwise black will do and I'll just have it resprayed.
I am pretty sure I have a few hoods available. Unfortunately no way to get it up to you in a cost effective manor right now. I am pretty sure it won't fit into my Mazda2.
I have a mariner blue hood available. Paint is in good shape, and overall hood shape is in good shape. It does have some hail damage dings but nothing that broke the paint. I'm from southern PA near Gettysburg. Let me know if you are interested.
Sweet thanks folks. I'll get in touch with Alan; hopefully a hood will somehow fit in a mazda 3, otherwise I may have to drive out without a hood and some extra Aerocatch hardware.
Most of the adhesive on the forward half of my hood has unglued.
This is the crack that's working its way over every time I open and close the hood. It's on the right side by the big vent. My hood will be rendered flaccid and probably crease across from the hood latch locations
