Default WTB differential for '04 MSM

Hey guys. About to buy an MSM with a whining differential and would like to replace it. Anyone have a limited slip diff. that will fit an '04 model MSM?

MSM diffs are unique to the MSM, if you switch to a Torsen diff you'll need axles for sure, and possibly a driveshaft.

1.8 non MSM diff will swap in if axles are exchanged. Driveshaft will be fine. I would recommend a 3.909 Torsen 2 if you want a drop in diff.

Savington, hit me back about the engine!

okay, the guy i'm buying it from informed me the differential has been swapped to '94-'00 year models.

So anyone got a kaaz or torsen differential pumpkin they wanna get rid of?

If he had a welded differential, means it was most likely an open diff. To get rid of the whine, all I need is the torsen pumpkin to replace it right? Do I need to look for new seals or anything?

Okay, so let me just change what I'm looking for.......

WTB: 1.8 torsen differential (everything needed to bolt up to 1.8 rear end).
Preferably low mileage and 3.90 gear

Looking to have by beginning of July!
