WTB Mazdaspeed Miata OEM IHI Turbo
Hi!
I'm looking for a working Mazdaspeed Miata original IHI RHF5 Vj35 turbocharger, or at least for CHRA.
I've got a lot of answers from companies in Europe, but it seems nobody knows anything from this turbocharger.
Turbo experts even aren't able to answer if any CHRA from other type of IHI turbos are possible to install or not?
So i'm looking for a CHRA/complete turbocharger for my totally stock MSM. My plan is to keep it as stock as possible (first )
I've bought the car 2 years ago and the engine was completely re-newed, as well as the turbocharger. Unfortunately the turbo split the oil after 2000km. It seems that the company who made the renewal (turbo shaft housing+bearings were replaced) used some parts which are bad quality or not fit properly. The turbo is now loose really in axial and radial direction (1-2mm, possible to feel by hand).
I need your help guys,

I’ve always looked for RHB5, not sure if that helps.

I would recommend just buying a BNR 16g and running that instead of messing with a no longer supported turbo that has very very very little information on the net. The bnr can be adapted to your stock intake or better, an AEM short ram. The turbo will use your oem oil and water plumbing, and exhaust. The hardest part is to fit the oem intake, AEM would be easier. It's a really nice turbo and can easily be rebuilt unlike the oem turbo.
