I've got a Volvo T3 (Garret) I've had sitting around for a while. Can't remember if it is water & oil cooled or just oil cooled. Let me know if you are interested and I'll dig it out of storage and take some pics for you.

That is one hell of a bastard turbo. T3 flanged with a mitsu CHRA... I have a serious hardon for this. Assuming it really is a TD05H center cartridge, even if that chra fails, any 14/16/18g would fit in that.... and it would only take 10 seconds to switch out because its a vband. I'm seriously considering picking this up.

how much over 300rwhp are you looking? A small 47 trim t3/t4 will get your there.

I've seen wastegates like that before on Conquests/Starions. Reintroducing the exhaust gas at a 90* angle for whatever reason seemed to help control boost creep. If you removed the plug and used a separated gasses or a dump tube you would creep like a sumbitch.
