i'm not sure they're worth it. are your rubber ones inadequate or just broken?

My rubber ones are as old as the car is (20 years old) and my exhaust has this funny habbit of hiting my rear lower tie bar. I think it would help keep this from happening. I don't think new rubber ones would do it...

i should explain my response.

i have the urethane ones now. they dont offer any real extra support compared with new rubber hangers. they also sag over time. I like the rubber ones better.

+1

In reality, the only thing they offer is more busted knuckles trying to pull them off. If your exhaust hits the rear tie bar, it is due to poor fitment.

You cant go wrong with the OEM hangers. They are cheap, easy to put on and take off, and they do the job just fine.
