Muncie 4 speeds are cheap and plentiful and can hold the torque of a big block Chevy. They are available in close ratio or wide ratio gearsets. Jerico is what they run in NASCAR behind 800hp small blocks turning 8200rpm.

lol. ONLY 4500 for the box, and ONLY about 3k more to get it all to work and throw a rear in there. and ONLY like 1k more in driveshaft and axles.
At this point I'd be considering parting the whole thing and looking into f20c or LSx swap options. Then boost that, and make 700-1000whp.
Why not

We needs a faeflora :*****: smiley.
Something else I noticed when I had to go back 6 pages to get to the broken tranny video he posted 4 days ago, he has 14 posts. That's 11.6% of posts coming from the OP. That's bordering on a BS thread. Not entirely his fault obviously.
BTW, my vote is keeping the rear end, with something better in between, TII, qualfie 6 spd, etc.

Faefae, dude, the answer is easy. TII tranny.
Should cost you a couple hundred bucks, max. If it can't hold your power, you are looking at a T56 or some ---- at that point - but it baffles me why it couldn't hold your power, considering the drag racing RX7 guys run it at 500-550rwhp or some shiz.
P.S. Make sure it's TII and not FD. FD trannies are weaker.
P.P.S. The RX7 guys have tons of tricks to enable it to hold more horsepower if you really are concerned.

You know the t2 trans is cable-speedo right? NB uses electric sensor. Also a custom drive shaft. Also custom adapter plate and additional fabrication to make it work. You do realize he does not have the skills or the tools to do something like that right? So you know it will cost about 2-3k realistically. The $200 trans isn't as appealing when it takes another 2k to make it work.
I love it when people that have no f*cking clue about fabrication and actually doing a swap like this tell someone "it will be cheap and easy".
