This wasn't to worst part. Seeing how much silt was in the seams of the couplers (post filter) was scary. Rain water off the road has **** in it you don't want going into your motor.

EDIT:

And holyfuggin'**** on the flood clearing!
I thought about the rain, but the car feels a lot better with the filter there. Im keeping my fingers crossed we stary dry.

I thought about putting tampons in the spark cavities to suck the fuel out, but I had an old vacuum pump laying around.

That **** would have been funny.

On the filter placement, I'm only going to say this **** one more time:

MOVE IT. Love your motor and move it.

I really thought I was being slick too...but the amount of **** that got flung into it was ridiculous. It's not just from the front...but that low it gets sprayed by the passenger front wheel when turned in as well.

Jack it up...turn wheel to left...lay under car looking up and just envision hitting puddles while following a Peterbuilt. You will end up moving it. Maybe yours is just a little higher and further in than mine...but there are pics in my crummy little build thread.

I knew you were gonna pull that one. Although it wouldnt hurt to add.... In case you dont follow the TPS write up, disconnect the oem tps and the tps wire on the harness to avoid flooding the engine....

Fine you alcoholics, breakfast, beer and lunch I suppose. Im gonna install install the WB today. So far this is the place I plan to send the injectors to get clean, and flow tested WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services unless you guys have any local suggestions. So far this means Ill ship out the injectors on moday the webpage says "turn time is 1-2 days after receiving" so I will probably get them back somewhere in the middle of next week and Ill install them the following weekend.

Given that everything goes as planned is it possible to meet within two weeks. Also I might have assumed wrong but can we use your place dan?? or should I arrange otherwise??

Hopefully we can do it at dan's. Otherwise my wife probably won't let me drive way the hell out there to homestead.

Ahem ... Kendall is not Homestead.. Well like I said Im assuming from what he had said to me before. Actually it will be more convenient for all of you since Im in the only one further south.

Also, no suggestions for a local injector servicing place that wont try to RIP me off or do a shitty job??. Everytime I try to get something done locally I remember that ******* at the tire shop trying to sell me 4 205 Azenis for $500 -_-

Cool then, PLX300 is install and running. I only need a crash course or tuning fuel for now. As I said before I plan to send out the injectors to be cleaned and tested on monday, I expect to get them back someday the following week and install them then unless you guys know a local reputable shop that will take care of that and save us a weekend.

With that said, what would be a good day for you guys??

Edit: Im strongly considering this to macth the turbo

What do you guys think??
