M45 to 2650R
Still working on some tuning, but car is running fine.
Before for almost 3 years. One with the AEM FIC/6. Ran great, no issues. Sold to a friend using the PowerCard.
Now with FM no-electronics kit, RX8 yellows. My car has a Borla Sport dual exhaust. Just getting the feel of it. I have only ridden in one turbo car before mine...Igor at the Mitty two years ago...wow...wow. Mine is no Igor, but at least I have an upward path now.

Thanks...I'm in southern Alabama, so cooling improvement is on the menu before summer gets here. That is a radiator for an automatic, so it does have a bit more capability than stock. So far I'm running right at 200-205.
I'm no SC hater. It served me well and was a lot of fun to drive. My friend is loving it. Of course, he has not driven my car with the turbo yet!

I just stumbled across this thread while reading more about superchargers.
I am the owner of the M45 supercharger Roger took off his car. I put it on my 00 SE. I still drive that car often and still love it. It is reliable, makes the car more fun to drive and still gets around 25 mpg, depending on how often I put my foot into it.
I did get the chance to ride with Roger and drive his car with the turbo. I was impressed with the abundance of power. However, I chose to stay with superchargers. So, I have recently acquired an M62 kit that will soon replace the M45 on my 00 SE.
However, I like the M45 so much that it will be installed on my 00 EVO.
Regardless of how much power my Miatas make, I think they are all fun to drive including the 1.6L NA. I agree with the tag line I saw recently that said if you are not having fun driving your Miata, you are doing it wrong!
Thanks, Roger!
