Gotta go vics. I'm doing the S2 throttle body, silly to pay Ben to port the VTCS Mani. VICS manis are common enough that sourcing one in time shouldn't be an issue and really doesn't add much of a project, just swap the manifold.

I can get a square top for about $400 but the dyno comparos I've seen lose midrange torque. In that thread above the squaretop didn't make any more power than the VICS. Much lower power level, but I'm cool with saving $300.

Sorry, I got your thread confused with Aidan's. If you aren't trying to squeeze two pennies together to make a nickel, then by all means buy a VICS.
Hell, I sold one not too long ago for around $50.
I'm sure you're right. If I was turning the engine to 8k RPM I would buy a flat top. But just turning up the boost isn't really a solution. For what a VICS Mani costs it's a no brainer.
El oh el.

VICS is totally doable. I could do the flat top but I just don't see $300 worth of returns based on the research I've done.

If I don't have a VICS secured by tomorrow though I'll probably buy the square top.

Well, decided to just get the VICS. Maybe do Honda down the road. Found one on Ebay for $110 shipped with Paypal, not horrible. But will be here in a week. In the meantime I have plenty of other stuff to do.

Lol yeah Josh! I need to buy you more stuff to compensate you for helping me. Perfect way to get Miata parts you wouldn't buy otherwise.

I really need your help.

Yank is going to fix my downpipe (flex pipe for EWG dump was bad). Install sway bars, fully remove charcoal stuff, etc. Much still for me to do.
