Thanks for responding, plot looks great if you add 12% across the board. Our local dynamics reads 18% lower then a dynojet, its a real heartbreaker, but its the best for tuning.

off topic: How much timing have you thrown at a BP engine in the past? I am running 12 degrees @ 15psi on the greddy manifold / turbo making 227whp on the local dynamics so 260+ dynojet.

I run around 16° on my 1.6L at ~15psi.

We had his only running 18-20° at 9.5psi IIRC.

that is the most basic way to control boost and it 100% should work.
I have used the GM solenoid with my MS3 a year ago on the same dyno and it worked fine then with my IWG 2554.

I ordered my new solenoid with 1/4" ports today so hopefully this one will work.

Below is the timing map that I left with. We added 3degrees across the board for everything over 100kpa. We were listening with Det Cans the whole time and did not here any knock at all at any point.

So I more or less have driven the car as a daily since mid May. So far no large problems with it. For the past week it has sat as I redid some wiring. I was tired of the MS being behind the passengers seat. So I have moved it to under the dash. I also did not like the million wires I had running into the cabin. Since I got rid of all the EGR crap in the engine bay, I had plenty of spare wires. I ended routing all my spark wires, vvt, AIT, EBC wires back through stock wires. I then shorted the part of the harness that goes from behind the dash to the stock ecu. The wires on the left are what I removed. The wires on the right is what is left to run the MS3x.

Next on the to do list is to find and fix my 2 oil leaks. I believe one is my intake cam seal. The other I think is oil drain line needing to be tightened just a bit. After that is to change the oil and send it off to be analyzed. I have 3k on my built motor and I want to know how it is doing.

That's starting to look like mine:

I picked-up about 10whp going from where you are to the table above.

Long story short is that I am trading a friend my old 94 head and lots of labor swapping heads for it. Now I just need to find some 11.5:1 compression pistons that fit in a miata that are cheap.

Use the old "quarter on piston" trick to get 11.5:1. Works everytime.

So for the past 2 months or so the car has ran pretty well. I finally added water lines to my waste gate and I got my 6 point harnesses installed.

This past weekend I went out to my Carolina Motorsport Park for a track day. I worked corners Saturday and drove Sunday. I swapped springs in the wastegate and ran 6psi.

Driving was a ******* blast. The only thing I had to fix on my car Sunday was tightening my alternator belt, which I knew was already loose before I went to the track day.

I also need to find some money to go get a real tune. At 6psi there were times I was running 10:1 in boost.

I only got 2 pictures of me out on track. They were from my friends blackberry while he was working corners. Hopefully next time I am out I can find someone to take some good pictures.
