with the mic(s) on the front of the camera (digicam) it didn't pick up any of the exhaust from behind (it's definitely louder than stock).
that's the bosch bov vta- I'd have to put a roll bar in my car... I like not having one. But the car hasn't been on the track either. If you want to do a Rd. A track event, say the word- I know I can find an NA Miata with a cage to run it in.
more cowbell? That's because I'm running a cowbell filter.
palm = tuning, datalogging... datebook

I bet you do- you just can't hear it. I couldn't hear mine until I put a real big muffler on the car. Same goes for the turbo- couldn't hear it spool until after I stuck the muff on. The bosch is not loud by any means, maybe the FM bov IS quieter?

My filter/bov is under the TB/manifold pointing at the starter. The filter cut down on the woosh volume significantly.
Yes the cam kills the joy. We used to mount the cam on the dash bar for race videos because it dramatically increased the sensation of speed. Putting the cam behind the driver and using a wide angle had the opposite effect - made 100mph look like 50.
Don't know when I'm racing at Rd. A next, but will announce it here. We usually have extra crew spots. - rob
