I/C piping question
#3
Quoted from m.net:
Has anyone out there done the math to know what the necessary IC Pipe Size is to support an engine making 300rwhp? I'm working on designing a IC for the Ubercharger that can support 300rwhp and I got to thinking about possible shrinking the size of the IC pipes if I can....or enlarge them to be able to support my end goal.
Just spoke with Corky, he crunched a few numbers (i.e. a LOT) and came to this conclusion as well that 2" would support 300rwhp no problem and I could even get away with 1.75".

2" doesn't fit too well becasue I have to run it down next to the a/c and p/s. Can't run it between the fans becasue of the sway bar and brace. I managed to reroute the power steering line a bit and the return line, So now I have about half inch of clearance at best. I'm not 100% happy with it but it will do for now. Getting rid of all that crap for the lower rad hose would be extremely nice though.

I had a feeling you might say that lol, Moving the return line would definately help matters. I just have to find some hi pressure line. I would really rather go over the top with the pipes for simplicity's sake but the vent on the hood dips down too far for 2".
I have the pipes routed down now but only have maybe a half inch between the a/c and it so I don't know how much the motor will move around when I start it up again this week.
