So FM called me today and said they found one laying around for me that they shipped out today.. Wierd.. I think they just like playing with my emotions :gay:
Regardless, it would be nice to see someone else making fuel rails too, something alittle cheaper and maby not pink haha.

When I first installed my fuel rail I didn't see that one of the parts was incorrectly sized. I ended up smelling gas and realizing a I had a pretty bad dribble during a drive to the store.
I have to ask, do the cars that burst into flame run fairly high fuel pressure? I don't see how the car could transition suddenly from OK to OMG FIRE with no warning signs.

needless to say, the more people make dual feeds (cometition) the cheaper they will get, now we are talking about something that has little mark up im sure, so its not very encouraging for any new companies to try to make one more attractive, better, and cheaper then the last guys...remember, you get what you pay for, i myself just want one that works and does the job...i dont care if its pink purple or yellow, as long as it does the job, the looks mean nothing to me, as cheap as i can get a good quality rail, im happy...so group buy it is...

If your thinking DIY:
Stainless material for the rail is very inexpensive but labor was difficult and took a long time. And I used a lathe to machine the A/N fittings and injector bung ID's.
Aluminum rails are more for material but easier to fab (just have to cut to length, tap the ends for whatever fittings, & make simple brackets). If I were ever to make some dual feed rails for sale this is how I'd do it. Kinda like Jim B's rail.

Are you sure the LS1 didn't have something to do with that? There are rubber hoses on 148 million (give or take 200 million - who knows) cars on the road right now and I don't see many on fire. I didn't read the LS1 fire thread (but I know a guy who was going to buy that car and is glad he didn't) but that wasn't a normal turbo install like a 1000 other people have done with high pressure hoses.
