Default sr20 downpipe?

This is probably a dumb question because I can't think of how it wouldn't work.
But I have a friend that wants to trade me his T25 and SR downpipe for my Td04e. If I trade all I would need is injectors, a manifold, and something to tune with before I can go Turbo.

So is there any reason the SR downpipe wouldn't work? I'm not on stock exhaust, but I'm not sure what brand it is either.

If you know how to cut and weld...it'll work just fine.

The reason a SR20 downpipe wouldn't work includes many different reasons:

1. It's for a different car chassis
2. It's for a different car motor
3. Stock SR20 is bottom mount. Good luck with that.
4. Your lack of knowledge is a huge obstacle.
5. See #4
6. Did I mention the SR20 turbo and downpipe is for a different car with a completely different motor?

All downpipes interchange, it's a manufacturer conspiracy as to why they're advertised under different names.

Although the flange is the same, the only difference is how the downpipe is routed.

Although you would need a different downpipe that bolts up to the exhaust, the flange at the top of the downpipe would still be the same, you could probably use the flange and have someone weld up the rest of the dp to meet up at the cat.
