Default stock purge valve used as boost controller?

Does anyone have any info on the stock purge valve on the 1.6l cars for the charcoal canister? I'm wondering if it can be used as a boost controller, no idea how fast it reacts, etc.

Yes it would be easier to buy new stuff. No that's not what you asked. Back on topic.

I'm not sure how that thing would react to pressure, I'm pretty sure purge solenoids don't see much if any pressure at all. I'd say if you have the time and patience its worth experimenting with, I doubt anyone's tried it.
