Bowser heatshield on a 1.8
Thanks to Pop, I got a great deal on a bowser heatshield. I only had to make a few modifications for it to fit my HKS/t25 setup. I think it turned out pretty darn good.

That does look good. SS is purty. That shield was my inspiration for my DIY sheild- made from the cover panel of my old hvac unit. I had an industrial strength heat blanket over it, but it was stopping air from flowing around the turbo and causing major heat soak in my engine bay. Barbeque black- not SS but it's working so far. - rob

Glad to see you getting some use out of it rather than bouncing around in my workshop. LOL.. is the "No Parking" sign still attached?
May need a caution here for other turbos or the 1.8. That shield was the original shield first marketed. If you have one bought in the past 4-5 years will notice it sits lower, has less top surface area, and the piece on the side is extended farther forward. It also comes in brushed stainless and shows a lot of polishing time! Unknown if the newer ones will fit as easily on the 1.8.
