ERRATIC RPM signal

ERRATIC RPM signal
I am having the headache of my life with this Emanage, its a pain to get a clear rpm signal.
If I take it from the 2G, it is like a 1/4 like you mentioned, but once I accelerate the signal goes thru the roof (even with tach disconnected) w/ MSD blaster coil.
Now I get the signal from the yellow/blue (negative) from Blaster ignition coil, this time at idle matches the cluster tachometer (not autometer), but once I accelerate the signal gets erratic once again. If I have any adjustments the car shudders a little bit while increasing rpms.
I even ran a brand new cable to make sure the cable is good to as the wire signal for the Emanage. I changed grounding points, changed ground wires, used thicker ones, no improvement at all...
I think... it is the MSD blaster ignition coil, I have the factory unit so tomorrow will try that. I am running out of options, if I cannot get a clear rpm signal the piggy back is useless. The Apex was so easy to hook up, but then again that was in a stock Escort GT, this time is on a 323 with BP swap, but those are only mechanical swaps, I have never messed up with anything electrical besides the stereo system which is disconnected (out of the car).
The signal is always clear with the Autometer and cluster tachs, but crazy with the emanage, is there a resistor I could install to clean the signal a little bit.
At the moment everything is set to zero so the car runs fine, but if I make any adjustments the engine hesistates slightly at mhigh rpms.

I have added grounds from the engine block to the chassis, disconnected the factory tachometer and still get this erratic signal.
Is this is the way is suppose to read?
Is there a function on the EMB to filter/tweak the signal?
It is driving me crazy...

Well, after much tinkering, adjusting, checking and brain storming all cables that could be the culprit of such symptoms, the E-Manage had to go so its out of my car and to EGAY or Craigslist it goes.
I am close to say the E-Manage is bad, but can't really tell, crazy as it may seem the Apex was installed and now it runs like a charm, smooth consistent power all the way to redline. Maybe in the near future will go for the new E-Manage, for now I am happy with the ghetto S-AFC.

LOL, yeah right, another box of gremlins.
I think I got it, the MSD Blaster Coil was giving me the bad signal. The car has solid polyurethane mounts with lots of vibration, maybe another EGAY MSD defective that I received.
All I know is the Apexi was installed thinking it was the E-Manage and the same symptoms so I know the Blue is good!
So, placed back the factory coil, ran a few passes with memory setting on RPM and power band smooth and linear. It seems is vibration the main problem. Installed simple pieces of rubber between the coil and the chassis on engine bay and helped a lot. Just in case, will swap all spark plug cables, distributor cap, etc as it is time for a tune up.
