Default Anyone run a vipec ecu?

With the amount of money going into my build I'm looking for a high end ecu that will run the car like stock, adjust for pressure and temperature whether I be in alaska or hawai.

It seems like this ecu is what I need and though expensive its the same amount as a hydra roughly, but with much more positive reviews from other car forums.

So is anyone running it?

I plan to run it on a 99.

I have a friend who just removed one from his 99. He had no complaints about it, but the guy who programmed it is always "not aavailable", and he is looking to further upgrade his car (so he went with an MS3). He is selling his, do you want me to ask him how much etc?

VIPEC is a rebadged Link. Not the older Link system that used to be run with FM kits, but their G4 version. So you may also want to look at Link reviews for comparison.

Vi-pec unit is manufactured from same factory that also makes Link as special order from Ray Hall that made and firmware/tuning software. Is very famous because was working for many years to Autronic.

I know that hardware is more advanced from Link G4.
Tuning software is very similar to Autronic.

I've one which I like but I've switched tuners and could do with a 1.6 base map for one to try and sort out a problem we've hit.

Is there anyone in here who would be able to help??
