Did the OP leave/cancel his membership? Is that what the grey italicized names mean?

I thought he was starting to fit in. Those SOHC 2.3 fords can make a silly amount of power. That basic architecture (in esslinger form) is still the dominant powerplant in midget racing with peak rpms wwwaayyy above any miata I've heard of. How I dunno...you stare at the cyl. head and ask yourself how it can stay together.

I'm sad he was banned. Nothing was wrong with him... responded just as many of you little girls did years ago.

2.3 ford was and still is a surprisingly potent motor. They regularly make more than any of ours Regardless of if his was or not.

And if he has one around already... parts for them... why not do a swap? Its not like our engines are light...

I thought SVO Mustang engines were heavy as ****--cast iron block & head and all--like the same weight as a 5.0.

They are not light, no question. Aluminum head can be done with a bunch of work...

Our engines aren't exactly the lightest either though.
