Default oem rebuild?

so my oil burning 95 is up for a timing belt, water pump, gaskets, etc. so i might as will pull it apart and freshen it up. i do have a tdo4-13t hanging on the shelf that i plan on aquiring parts for a build. ive read that that turbo is only good for maybe 250rwhp with the right setup and that happens to be the threshold of the stocker. so as i order parts for the rebuild should i consider any supporting internals to make sure the motor can hold reliably with whatever that turbo can jam into it? i do not plan on trying to get anymore out of it then what that turbo can support.

$623 for ebay forged rods and supertech pistons. Not really voicing an opinion, as I am going through a somewhat similar situation. But, figured I would throw this out there for you.

Depending on cylinder wall condition, you could potentially just re-hone, new rings and re-use the stock pistons along with a set of manley rods. Seems to be a very popular 'mild' build route. Pretty sure that's what curly did for Laz's MSM race engine.

Few extra bucks to have a little more resistance to some accidental detonation is not a bad deal.
