Can't argue with that. I've had zero problems with the software (including AfterBurner) on my new MSI 7770.

I was just curious.

I use Afterburner with my HD6970 as it will let me voltage unlock it, onscreen gup%,temp, fan speed and run video cap in 1 tool

I have no interest in overclocking or overvolting (I am already rock-steady at 60 FPS playing TF2 at 1920 x 1200 with all settings maxed), but I do find the fan control and OSD to be convenient. After a horrid experiance with the GTX280, it's nice to watch the GPU temp just sit there at 40-41° with the fans at 50-60%.

Source is something like 8 years old now and doesn't take much to run. Going for 60+ on Far cry 3 max settings and anything else that comes out this year and next. Left rooms to expand with a 3ed sli in 1.5 to 2 years.

you'd be set then, I ran Crysis 3 closed alpha at max with a steady 68-70fps on a single 670

Oh, I know. It's just interesting that it used to kick the GTX280's ***, despite the fact that TF2 was already a year old when the 280 came out as an "ultra-mega-high-end" $600 card.

Yeah, I know. The 280 probably degraded with age. Still annoys me. I'm not gonna clutter this thread with that argument.

I'm so ADD I have to rush play everything I can. Long open world games take me years as I quit and return over and over again.

Just boxed up 2 gigabyte 660ti, 2 galaxy 670 and a Asua mobo to send back. No restocking and shipping is covered by newegg, all I had to do was ask nicely.

No it's bringing air in and up. The air coming from the PSU is never hot as air flow > heat being generated in the PSU.

Every PC power supply I have ever seen is configured such that the fan draws air from inside the case and exhausts it out the back.

Are you saying that your power supply draws air in from the outside via the back, and exhausts it into the case?

I will double check but when I put my hand over it the air was blowing into the case or it just felt like do to the air flow around that area.
