Im assuming that was with the Link. I wouldnt recommend them mostly because unless you have a link you wont be able to get the most out of it. For 250 dollars get something else.

But for FM stuff you can check on m.net. most of this site is DIY (or greddy upgrades), but take what they say with a grain of salt THEY LOVE FM.

I'd estimate 3 HP or so. After installing them you need to run on a dyno for a while to tune them in. I'd spend my money on something else...

BTW, adding lightness is free and will get you more performance than what those cam gears will ever get you.

john, before you start buying random parts for your car have a plan, and then shop around. Alot of guys post theoretical build ups for ideas and plans to work from. Just something to think about.

stock 1.6 cams seem to love turbos go figure. I haven't seen any real evidence of cams being of any significance with forced induction on a 1.6. The car is near ready for a turbo, have at it

what engine do you have?

I can understand if you want to take it slow, that's what i've done, I'm a clutch away from running 12+ psi of boost....well i'm also repainting but that's a different story

i would really look at what's been tried and proven to work with miatas, there's really a ton of info out there. If it were me and i were doing it all over again from scratch. boy where to start.

What are you goals and choose a turbo based on that, from there you'll have a lot more direction

Cam gears are for teh Honja boiz. The stock Miata ECU will adjust itself back down if you advance the cam gears.

Remove weight from vehicle.
Best free upgrade! Every new car today is too damn heavy. Well, except the Elise!
