**** the solstice, its the lotus' you have to worry about. Our local club pres (prolly fastes driver and car in the area) had some problems taken him out, swapped his FM stuff out for JIC and beat the lotus.

As for Richard beating Brent, it happened during one event. To say that swaping to the JIC setup did the trick is a little far fetched. Every dog has their day. And I don't think the Elise was on r-comps.
At the challenge cup two years ago I beat EVERY Miata in the rain when my car was still NA and on bald as hell RA-1. I think that was 12 Miatas from stockish all the way to a completely done up M62 autocross beast from Calgary that regularily sets FTD in Calgary and Edmonton. Most of the Miatas were FI'd. Does this mean I'm god's gift to Autocross and have a magical car? Nope, I had a particularily good and lucky day. Everyone else had a less good day.
Sorry for the drift, but if I have to hear this particular piece of bullshit again I'm going to scream.

Well I wouldn't get carried away. Richard is quick and so was/is the car, but being the fastest in the area? No.

One of the fastest then..? Well he acredited the win to the suspension so I thought I would too..
Sorry if I hit a soft spot Jay.

The Mazdaspeed 6 and 3 are a step in the right direction. The new Miata, not so much.

I don't think it could be said that a 4 door sports car with a Rotary engine is playing it safe. In fact the RX8 is pretty risky if you think about it. A better example would be the Mazdaspeed Miata, now that is half assed.

A four door n/a is ******* safe.
