i think you should fix the smoke problem first, then work on the boost problem. Maybe while fixing the first, you find whats causing the low boost.

One down, one more to go... It's a mbc contolling the boost, all my couplers are good, pipes are good, wastegate moves fine, bov is good, turbo is good, mbc hoses good... Maybe my hallman mbc went to ****? Can't think anything else, both laptop and gauge recorded boost at 10psi

What is the stock PSI on the wastegate? My vote is the MBC failed and your running a stock 10 PSI gate.

Try adjusting your mbc and see if your boost changes (in either direction)...maybe the mechanism inside is stuck or something. If your couplers / clamps are good, your wg is good, then it has to be something stupid like the mbc not functioning properly....There's only so many things that can affect boost...

See all that tearing up this morning over nuthin

^^^^yeah I think I'm gonna take the mbc apart and clean it.... Chris you were shaking so much this morning cause you were afraid to help me do my head gasket, I think I even saw a tear on your eye too.
