Urgent! Engine idling oddly

Yeah didnt know how else to describe it, i might get a video if i can be bothered lol. Yeah gaskets replaced with a little bit of high temp sealant too. So on top of the surging revs, at idle its stuck at around 1.2 to 1.5k even after adjusting the idle air valve, cant get it below 1k. In more detail the idling is just high, no rough idling or misfire etc

yeah, you have a vacuum leak and the ISC can't lower the idle enough to compensate for the failure.

Fixed!

Stoked after i installed the new (used) IAC, idles @ 800 and idle does not surge anymore, so if anyone else has this problem give that a go.
