Have you ever, in your lifetime, seen a person elected to the office of President of the USA, and felt that they lived up to every statement or promise made during their campaign?
If you have, please, list that person! Then we can start to compare Obama, or any other past President, to that person.
I see people (on both sides), so insistent that one candidate or another is going to lead this country into X, Y and Z. Could you do me a favor? Could you look into that crystal ball of yours, and tell me what next week's lottery numbers will be? Can you do it in the Miss Cleo voice? I'll split the winnings with you, honest!
Sheeple want to believe they're helpless, at the mercy of the government and the wealthy and the corrupt. That there's nothing we can do about it, other than be morose and whine. There's a reason we're not still known as "British America"... it had nothing to do with superior firepower, or superior training, and very little to do with a bunch of drunks dumping tea off a boat.
Don't want to see this country continue its descent into the *******? Instead of blindly reciting rhetoric, be it in support or opposition of a person or a cause, take a bit to learn the details of why people on both sides thinks it's a good or bad idea. One-sided conversations aren't useful, and alienating others by lashing out with wild claims and fanatical viewpoints precludes the opportunity.
Willful ignorance makes me sad. I'm not laughing with you, I'm laughing at you, to keep from crying.

Freedom of Choice Act FTL.
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., the Democratic President-Elect, became a co-sponsor of the 2007 Senate version of the bill (S. 1173). Responding to a question regarding how he would preserve reproductive rights in a speech given to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund on July 17, 2007, he declared "The first thing I'd do, as president, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That's the first thing that I'd do."[4]

I'm pro-choice, not pro-death. And I'm for State's rights. I'm not your typical Republican, as I'm a registered Democrat.
I also don't like the idea of doctors losing their license if they refuse to do an abortion.
failure of notification of parents if a minor is getting an abortion.
failure of the 24 waiting period after consultation.
doctors being sued if the abortion they didnt want to do in the first place goes wrong.
and these guys:
You have no chance to survive make your time. Ha ha ha ha ....
