I am issuing a challenge to you guys who think you can find PC cards
I need a cheap Chinese Ebay PCI internal soundcard that has two input jacks (separate left / right inputs). 1/8" jacks are fine but 1/4" jacks would be fantastic.
I need it to hook up the blue box seen on the floor at 0:25 and 1:35 of this video (feel free to hijack that **** out of this thread as soon as you find a soundcard for me):

This: Forté Media FM801-AU 4-Channel PCI Sound Card w/Game/MIDI Port CL-S801-4CH-DB
Plus one of these: Parts-Express.com:3.5mm Stereo Male to 2 RCA Male Cable 10 ft. | 3.5mm mini plug 1/8 inch 3.5mm stereo interconnect audio ipod mp3 player computer sound card (or other length, as needed)
And two of these: Parts-Express.com:RCA Jack To 1/4" Mono Plug Adapter | rca jack rca adaptor adaptor adaptor 1/4" plug 1/4" jack 1/4 jack 1/4 adaptor
This assumes that the two 1/4" outputs of your blue box (which I can't see since YouTube is blocked at work) are unbalanced mono. If they're balanced, a different solution will be needed.

That's a hard thing to do. There are not a ton of these out there and there are 4 different versions so finding info on the blue one (the first one) is not easy. It is called a Rig Kontrol 1 and it is used for Native Instruments Guitar Rig software (turns your PC into 1000 different amps and stuff). The box accepts input from two different guitars via a 1/4" jack and has two outputs. The outputs would be the guitar and a signal output (outputs a beep saying "button #1 was just pushed).
You can see the back of it here:
Native Instruments Guitar Rig Foot Controller Pedal - eBay (item 230442543370 end time Mar-02-10 16:15:24 PST)

Hmm.
I've got the datasheet here for the current version (black, with little silver switches) and that one has balanced TRS outputs. If the blue one is the same (and no reason to think it's not) then the solution I posted above might work, but it'll be shorting the ring terminals to ground. That tends to **** off op-amps.
Tell me how long you need the cable assembly to be, and give me your address. I'm assuming you already have a sound card with a 1/8" stereo input?
