We left Thursday afternoon - WITHOUT BEAST! I spent 2 days getting the new tranny in. Drove the car to the gas station to fill up and then came home and waited 2 hours for the caravan of miatas to meet at my house. Opened the garage to fire her up and she didn't start! The main relay just sat there making a clicking noise. Just rolled into town and haven't had a chance to troubleshoot yet.

It was ok. I wish there were more FI'd Miatas there. Actually, there were a ton of JRSC'd cars there but most of them didn't have a clue how their stuff even worked. There was a guy with a car covered with drift stickers, a 6psi JRSC with a huge A/A IC, a huge rear wing, and a coffee can muffler who everyone thought was the ****. I wish I had my car there <G>.

Was this car you're refering to orange and green? Or something similar to this paint scheme? I think he's from GA. I've only seen a handful of pics so far. I wish I could have been there to see the cars.
Of subject but I found out why I was all over the place at the autox. Not only were my tires crappy... but they were dry-rotted, crappy tires.

Yes, that was the car. A very crappy copy of the MX-5 MS racecar with vinyl graphics. I probably shouldn't talk down about anyone's car but the oversized IC and coffee can exhaust that you could hear a mile away just rubbed me the wrong way.

I think I read somewhere that they were going to try and get the raceway for next year. Maybe have an autox there and/or drift session for M@MB next year. I know you aren't talking down about anyone's car. It's just not your thing, that's all. I find it funny that you were saying his car was too loud considering your exhaust setup and your BOV.
