I just baked Slim Jim pieces into crescent rolls. It was good, although I think tiny pieces of Slim Jim baked into the inside would have been better.

So the local Miata club went to a fairly well known asian restaurant called E Noodle Co. They made us a 5 course meal, and it was pretty freaken awesome. (And all for $16 a person!) I got a couple pictures, not all 5 though, sorry. What I didnt photograph was 1, 4 and 5. 1st was a spicy coconut and chicken soup. 2nd was a seared tuna, photograph #1. 3rd was a spicy shrimp and a crazy sticky/sweet rice photograph #2. 4th was a seared beef and udon noodle. And finally 5th was a scoop of ice cream with a deep fried banana.

Then last night I made a stuffed spinach stuffed tilapia with a cheese sauce over rice.



And for lunch today I made a sautéed soy chicken and udon noodle with some baked wonton wrappers.

I did have a cheese stick too... i guess when family doesnt want to go out for lunch you get stuck with Thomas.

I think korean food fits the "eating like a king" moniker the best. I love the fact food comes in like 2 dozen mini dishes, with well displayed main course which is always some sort of bbq.

that looks delicious but I must criticize the method of bacon wrapping. you end up with the top and bottom center of the puck covered in 2x the amount of bacon. I prefer to have the same quantity of bacon equally distributed in each bite. I friggin HATE the "x-bacon" on restaurant burgers.
