The only reason I wear gloves on the road bike is because of the horrible injuries I've seen from people who've gone down and needed skin grafting.

I always wear gloves. I like the really lightweight fingerless gloves with a little ulnar pad in the palm for road riding. Light weight full finger gloves for MTB. I have some thicker, warmer gloves but almost never have the occasion to wear them because it's warm here most of the year.

Standard Emilio post that pisses all over everything I love. I don't have that kind of money so I have to buy **** products first, then the shitty performance or durability holds a gun to my head and makes me buy the expensive stuff. This is true of pedals, shoes, and ***** pumps.

Bought a Vilano 21 speed the other day and it should get here either tomorrow or friday. Having only ever ridden cheapie wal mart/cosco bikes during my childhood I imagine this will be a big step up from those. I know its about the cheapest road bike out there thats not the gmc but it seems to get alright reviews for what it is. Hopefully it can take the punishment of 36 miles a day...

Just getting back into biking again. I took the wife out on her BX special Mongoose. I hate that thing and so does she. I got this back when I separated and just put new pedals on. Took it out today for a short trail ride and I like them. Deity compound pedals. Probably getting her a new bike and might be selling this to front a new one for me to. She can't get nicer things 
Really need to get out more. So out of shape. Getting new entry level 29'ers will make me get out more. Or that's the lie I tell myself.

I'm pretty happy with my poverty HT 29er. I get tons of **** for not getting a dually but still have a great time and have no desire to spend more money.

I've used a lot of bibs over the years, both stuff I paid full pop for and cheaper Team Issue stuff from whatever team I was on that year. Never had a cheap pair of bibs that were really comfortable or long lasting. It's true though that some of the really expensive <$200 bibs are nothing special. I look for double stitched hidden seams and a big plump chamois. My last pair of Assos Progetto bibs were stupid expensive, incredibly comfortable and lasted maybe 3 yrs, 50k miles. Money well spent IMO. I have two pair of Castelli's I use now. Medium priced but very nicely made.

OMFG. I'm looking to pick-up at least two more pair of bib-shorts after happiness with these Specialized shorts. Now, I checked-out those Falconi shorts but every single picture they have of these on the internet has some strung-out heroin addict modeling them.
I think I'm going to order more of these Specialized RBX bibs.

You guys any your sub 50 pound bikes and your suspensions and electronics.
This frame legit weighs more naked than some of your bikes fully dressed. Its like thick walled mild steel, based on the old rack holes the down tube is like 3/16th wall. And the seat may or may not have cost 4 times as much as I paid for the bike.
