Default Pen Testing a Ferrari Dealership

This new show is very interesting.. from a tech point of view, they do nothing spectacular on this episode, but next episode they will use RFID cloning on a jewelry store. Make sure you have 15 minutes free to see how you can easily steal a Ferrari or lambo

PS* it will pause between segments where commercials would be.... BE PATIENT

Believe it or not, but apart from the deadbolt on the cabin door, big commercial aircraft don't really have keys / locks / etc. Once you're inside, stealing the airplane basically consists of pushing a few buttons to fire up the APU, starting the main engines, and you're off. The hardest part, assuming it was parked at a gate at an airport or otherwise facing an obstruction, would be getting someone to push you back. (Maybe 20 or 30 Miatas all yoked together to the nose gear could pull the airplane back away from the gate.)

I thought it required a huffer to start Jet engines of that size?

Pretty sure the SR-71 requires a couple chevy 502 powered units to goose its engines

For two and a half years I worked right by the place that does all the dealer prep for those guys, and they work on a bunch of classics. I saw so many bugattis, lotuses, ferrarris, lambos and bentlies, old and new, that I was pretty jaded. After a while the only thing that impressed me was this guy's 914. :-)

Well, the SR-71 is special. But then the military guys have all manner of amusing starting contraptions, up to and including pyrotechnic charges, to get their engines spun up in a hurry. (And yes, I know the SR-71 was not technically a military aircraft.)

Most airliners however are capable of self-starting by taking bleed air off the APU to get the big engines turning. The preferred method is indeed to use ground-based equipment to provide the compressed air, but they can start themselves if need be.
