Well if it's a 3.75" TB then he's running a 3" IC pipe, look at the reducer coupler... Looks like around a 1" to .5" reducer, and I somehow doubt he's running a 3.25" pipe. So I'd guess 2.75" or 3".

My guess is that this guy isn't "doing something right," he's paying to have someone else do something right.

^ True. Whoever did it did it to the tune of quadruple-digit HP, so I'm not going to nitpick.

EDIT - SamS beat me.

Doesn't look like much of a step-down, could be 3.5" pipe, where's Pat's calipers?

If I was living in that house, I'd probably pay someone too. There's no way my work would look that good.

I'm assuming that the ID of the TB is 95mm. So he is probably running something in the range of a 102-89mm reducer, thats a fairly common size reducer.

Eh, once you go much beyond the 900whp range the turbo selection gets pretty crappy. I prefer a nice solid everyday 6-800 whp with another 1-200 available for race days. All the big frame turbos suck ***** on the street.

My brother and I built a car for a guy years back with a 74mm turbo that made ~700 on wastegate, 16 psi if I recall correctly, and 950 on high boost. It was about perfect. He latter went to a T6 that we tuned to ~890 on low boost but the curve was crap compared to the T4.
