yeah, have her checked.
I keep running the last week in my head over and over to see if there was anything I could have done differently, but there was really nothing we could have done had they even been able to determine Belle's issue. The "official" diagnosis was a collasped trachea, but how that occured we have no clue, she seemed healthy otherwise and really put on a good show until the end. We were sooooo lucky we were home and able to keep her suffering to the absolute minimum. Had that been a work day, we probably would have come home to a dead cat who sufficated in a most unpleasant way.
And we still dont know why she became anemic in one week's time too. Guess it was really just her time. Poor old lady. My two stupid boys are like dumb and dumer without her.
This morning Pookie kept trying to eat with Hobbes -- something he did with Belle. He'd like to take bites when she was chewing, and they'd each take turns. Hobbes however is very nervous and likes to eat alone once they were done. So I watched pookie wait for hobbes to finally eat, then try to do the same thing with him. But Hobbes would whine and walk away, then they both wait it out a few minutes and repeat this a few times.

Huge kitty dump coming.
Kitties enjoying 93 LE carpet.
Look we can climb.
I am in a box, so much fun.
Working on building a cat fence. Small size is just for testing, will be expanding it to my full backyard. Neighbor was complaining that the cats were making their dogs bark, since moving the cats indoors and building the fence I have seen the 4 or 5 other outdoor cats hanging around a hole lot more.

Results from the vet were good. Cat is pretty healthy, just has a common cold. No issues with her lungs, heart, ears. She does have a bad tooth, but for a 12 year old cat isn't uncommon. She was given an immune booster and antibiotics.

Theres dry food but he doesnt like that. 15 years old, i'm guessing its because his teeth hurt when he eats it. He eats a full can in the morning, full can at night, then about 3-4 servings of those 1 serving meals in the bag throughout the day/night.
Bag (different flavors, he hates tuna)

It is somewhat common for older cats to develop a thyroid condition that requires a pill once a day. It makes them skinny regardless of intake and can cause other health issues if untreated. But with thyroid pills they are normal.

I went through all the pictures of Belle I could find.
From 2002 till 2015 I have about 1084 on my computer, but I'm missing all of 2012 and I don't really have any images from before 2008 (on an old HDD).
