the lcd panel is techincally an EVF.

but yeah i hate the EVF. It's dumb and hard to see anything through it or the information around the edges. its a waste of space.
Must be some kind of confusion lol. I was talking about the alpha a7, and asking about your a6000.

Bummer about the EVF, I guess the a6000 uses the old evf, even it's predecessor had the better evf screen.

This is my first experience with a EVF, so i dunno if it's better or not.

I come from a large pentaprisim VF. The tiny video screen of the a6000 is just silly, it's completely pointless and designing to legacy for no reason but to waste money.

To tell you the truth I don't know how it happened. I don't recall ever unchecking the box for it and I don't know how to get it back up. Plus all my raw files are being converted to dng and I don't know if that's good or bad while editing.

Nice one Braineak, I did a lot of panning at the Roar Before. Since I took so many pictures panning, I did clean still shots for this time around.

But yes, I do need to work on my panning. That looks fantastic.

Do you know how I can Share my Metadata like you asked before? Lightroom deletes it.

@braineack- I checked and fixed the metadata. The new photos will now contain the information. Thanks for your help.

@OGracing- it's already on it. It's on the very left side vertical on the photo. Does it need anything else?

Seems easily defeated. I think the intent with watermarks is to make it so they can't crop/edit/steal your photo and totally eliminate the watermark.

watermarks are pointless for theft. but they aren't horrible so people see who shot the phot. however, they are distracting and dumb.

I am back and forth on it. I'm an amateur who doesn't make money on a hobby. If it was a career, I would be all for a watermark. I just put a basic mark on there just because I can.

i'm good friends with Jeremy cliff. We both started off shooting together. i got bored of it, he took it and ran. he now travels around shooting for Toyota, and other big companies. he's a big shot photographer now and i'm just a little jelly i didn't take it more serious. He does a simple text in an inconspicuous spot. we both experimented with a big *** water mark logo type things, but it was too distracting. i think the small text works out. gives you the internet search keywords you need to find his website.
