I'm not terribly concerned about trading in the glass, as the only lens that is actually worth anything is that 18-200, and it was purchased used for ~$350 in December, so I could probably get that out of it somehow. The 50mm might be worth $85, and the other two combined could get $50 total if I tried really hard. Like I said, I really only use the 18-200 anyway; I should really sell the two kit lenses whether I switch or not as I never use them for anything ever.

Nikons new-ish 18-140 got a lot of good reviews and seems to be a pretty solid "all-around" lens. My wife's D7100 kit came with one. She still uses her 35mm prime lens the most though

Took my 7dmk2 and 100-400 mk2 (oh, and the kids too) to the SF Zoo a few weeks ago:

I've got a bunch of other Canon gear too. A 50D, 70-200, 17-55, 24-105, assorted speed lights, soft boxes, etc.

Buy it, it's basically brand new and it's cheap.

Nice shots, the Koyla is great.

I bought the Tamron 150-600 a few months back:

Anyone know much about mirrorless?

I'm thinking about getting an a6000. Too bad I dont have cannon glass, but I do have old Pentax glass I can adapt to it.

Enjoying my Sony RX100 mkII

Sony polarizer adapter kit with a 49mm Tiffen circular polarizer. It's a grower not a shower.

Pretty happy with what this little camera is capable of

I played with an RX100 a year or so ago and I was very impressed with its, well, everything. Takes great pictures, has all the controls you need set up way more conveniently than I would have expected possible on such a small body, and was very handy to carry around. I do like my changable lenses and super convenient controls too much to give up my DSLR right now, but the RX100 is say more convenient for sure.

I was looking at the RX100, but im thinking about an a6000 for a casual/travel camera.

Basically a D3300/D5500/D7200 in the palm of my hand.

I just wish the a6000 was in-body stabilization.

my current camera is as big as my cat:

I would recommend the RX-100 as well. I bought a mirrorless for the same reason as you, I ended up taking pictures with my 20mp phone camera as the mirrorless was still bulky for the casual trip here and there.

I'm done with dslr's, and I'm confident I won't be going back. I enjoy taking and editing photos more than worrying about changing / carry lenses for a day of shooting. Vacationing, hiking, or just being out and about, I can always have the camera on me ready to go which has made photography more enjoyable, so that's always a good thing. I'm just a hobbyist, your mileage may vary.

Anyways, the "power" pocket cameras keep improving, and I'm thinking my next camera might be something like the Panasonic LX100. A bit more muscle, with just a bit more bulk.
