I can see where it can be possible to land at the wrong airport if you are VFR with no landmarks and a good haze in the air, but it was a clear, sunny day, ~1pm with some high, widely scattered cumulus. But when you see the aerial picture and you've bothered to eyeball a map inflight or better yet, before departing, the landmarks are extremely well defined. How nonchalant or cavalier does your attitude need to be to not check a chart before you leave with that many souls onboard?

Maybe I'm just used to aircraft that are low and slow enough to count cows, but if I'm traveling I'm always checking my location versus active airfields nearby in case I need to put down. And you have to constantly keep your head on a swivel to watch for traffic. When the airplane breaks it doesn't usually leave you much time to orient a map. If you are at 35,000 and 500kts it doesn't matter as much, but it's good to know where you are and what's around you when you are down low. In their case, that would be coming in for a landing somewhere new.

The bike owner's handling of the situation pissed me off almost as much. Should have just removed himself from the situation and called the police while monitoring the POS's location from afar.

Honestly, I feel so bad for many of my black friends who are normal. They cannot even turn on the t.v. with face palming hard. It's a shame.

You're kidding right? If someone is trying to steal my property and give me some ***** attitude about it, I'm going to make a scene. The dude's bike would have been long gone if we would have observed from a far and I'm sure the police never get calls about black people stealing bikes, so he would have gotten it back, right?

I mean, come the ---- on, the dude cut the lock in broad daylight in front of people! Is he protected under some new government program or something?

You do know that the dude had the lock already cut and stuffing the cutter in his backpack right? 30 seconds later and that bike would have been gone. At the end of the video you can see the owner getting on his bike and riding away.

I don't get it.

Apart from the color of the hair, she looks the same in both images. Same duckmouth, same contortion of the facial muscles around the area of the cheeks and jaw.

What am I failing to notice?

No, you got it. A few years with Marylin Manson makes women dye their hair and look a few years older.

A few years with someone makes them look a few years older? Shocking.
