I was recently reminded of the work of Micheal Bedard, while researching a snarky reply in a thread elsewhere involving the classic Edward Hopper painting Night Hawks.
At one point, it seemed as though Bedard's work was completely inescapable. Everywhere you looked, there was a lithograph featuring his classic water-fowl in that indescribably unique visual style. And then, just as suddenly as a shift in the tides of fashion, they were gone.

There's nothing special about that relay that makes it cost $110, apart from scarcity. If I were stranded near an Autozone in Prescott, AZ late at night and needed to get home, I'd break it open and splice a generic, off-the-shelf SPST automotive relay into its base.
