It's the bad photo. I actually have the issue of Hot Rod that featured the 2jz Camaro. The car made over 1000whp and was completely modern on the inside. Easily one of the nicest, original RS/SS builds I've ever seen.
However, the best magazine was the issue after that. They had a section that was for all the hate mail and death threats (yes, you read that right) they got from readers for doing a feature on the car. They also had a ton of readers cancel their subscriptions. Hot Rod pretty much told those people to suck it up or get lost. That was cool.
People are fascinatingly narrow minded.

My best friend is struggling to keep his faith, but I never give him a hard time about it unless he provokes me by siding with some of the more ridiculous things not because he knows it to be true and right, but because he thinks it is God's will and he should do it/support it with out question.
Looks like this, really. "OH MY GOD BRO! YOU SPOKE TO GOD ABOUT THE TSUNAMI IN JAPAN!?!?! THAT'S AMAZING!!!!!" (He really believes that his deity killed those people because they aren't Christian)
