What RPM does that 42R hit full boost on a busa? On a 2.5L subaru it can 5-5500RPM.

Well, obviously most of the mega-turbo'd motorcycles are not intended for street use. They're drag bikes with really long swingarms. Example:



Some of these guys even use wheelie bars and extended-rake frontends. It gets insane...

And of course, some of these guys are just building dyno queens, pure and simple. Not much different from the folks who blow $80k having OCC build a piece of rolling art that cannot actually be ridden...

A mate had a ZZR turbo'd.
It was built to drag but needed to be street legal for his class.


I've rode it in a few states of tune, the highest around 300bhp.
Foooookin thing was pure evil, even with the extended swing arm it's still wheely AND spin up at well over 100mph.

Foooookin great on the straights, but you might as well get off and push the foooker round the corners.

On the road i could easily pull away till he was out of sight even if i was on me 350lc.
But then i needed to cause he'd foooookin trounce me on the straights.
